Australia Bowled Out For 264

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The track in Dubai has been much better for batting than the previous three innings, which were a bit slow. Australia had a shaky start, as Mohammed Shami dismissed Cooper Connolly for a duck. However, after that, Travis Head unleashed his carnage, as he always does in crucial matches against India. He scored 39 from 33 balls, before his innings was cut short by Varun Chakravarthy, who took the crucial scamp in the first ball he bowled to the Australian opener.
After that, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne steadied the innings, as the duo put on a half-century stand. After that Ravindra Jadeja struck twice in quick succession as he removed Labuschagne and Josh Inglis. Smith and Alex Carey then went on to trouble the Indian bowlers, as the duo stitched another half-century stand. Smith went on to score 73 before he got out to Mohammed Shami. This was then followed by Axar Patel taking the scalp of Glenn Maxwell in the very next over.
Alex Carey went on to score a half-century but was run-out due to a brilliant piece of fielding from Shreyas Iyer. he Aussies then were bowled out for 264, with Shami being the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/48.
