Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma lose their cool at Kuldeep Yadav while fielding during the 2025 Champions Trophy semi-final between India and Australia at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday (March 2) with the game evenly poised.
The incident happened after the fifth ball of the 32nd over of the match, which Kuldeep was bowling. As Australian batters Steve Smith and Alex Carey completed a single, Kohli threw the ball from deep square leg to the bowler's end. However, Kuldeep did not collect Kohli's throw and instead let the ball pass. There was no overthrow as Rohit Sharma was guarding the ball but both the Indian captain and former skipper were not pleased at Kuldeep's action.
In a video clip that quickly went viral on social media, both Rohit and Virat were spotted giving Kuldeep and earful over the incident.
