Kohli also became the first player in the world to play 300 ODIs, 100 Tests, and 100 T20Is. Kohli has so far played 300 ODIs, 123 Tests, and 125 T20Is in his career. He has retired from T20Is but continues to go strong in ODIs and Tests.
Meanwhile, Kohli has achieved tremendous success across formats, but ODIs always got the best of Kohli. The India great is the third leading run scorer in the format, with 14085 runs. He is the fastest to score 14000 runs in the format. Kohli also tops the charts of most hundreds in the format with 51 centuries to his name - the only player to score 50+ hundreds in ODIs.

Virat Kohli could also break a big record in the ICC Champions Trophy if he can score 52 runs against New Zealand. Kohli, who has scored 651 runs, will become the leading run-scorer for India in the ICC Champions Trophy. The record is currently held by Shikhar Dhawan who scored 701 runs in 13 matches.
