Indian cricket reached new heights in 2024 when Team India won the T20 World Cup and in 2025, India will aim to win their first 50-over ICC title in 12 years. Team India has a busy schedule in 2025 and the players will once again stay on the road for many months.
The year 2025 will kick off with India playing the fifth and last Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia while 2025 will end with a white-ball series against Australia in their country. As the fans celebrate the new year, here we have a look at the Indian cricket team's full schedule for 2025 -
The fifth Test between India and Australia is scheduled to be played from January 3 to 7. After returning from Australia, India will host England in a white-ball series from January 22 to February 12. The series includes 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs.
After the England series, Team India will travel to Dubai for the Champions Trophy. The tournament will be played in Pakistan but India will play their matches at the neutral venue. The ICC event is scheduled to be played from February 9 to March 9. The IPL 2025 will be played from March 14 to May 25.

Should they qualify, India will take on South Africa in the World Test Championship final from June 11 to 15 at the Lord's Cricket Ground. If India fail to qualify, then they will kick off their UK tour with the five-match Test series against England. The series is scheduled to be played from June 20 to August 4. India could have a new captain for the series.
After returning from England, India are scheduled to tour Bangladesh for 3 ODIs and as many T20Is in August. India will play their first home Test series of the year against West Indies in October. The series comprises 2 matches.
India are scheduled to host the Asia Cup in October-November. The year 2025 will end with India touring Australia once again for 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is in October-November.
