UP Yoddhas opened their campaign with a narrow win over Dabang Delhi KC. UP Yoddhas looked more dominant in the second game where they crushed Bengaluru Bulls at a scoreline of 57-36. Surender Gill was the main man behind the domination, He scored 17 points with 13 successful raids. Bharat also made a crucial contribution, accumulating 14 points with nine raids.
Meanwhile, Bengal Warriors have featured in one match in this PKL season and lost to Jaipur Pink Panthers by a margin of five points. Nitin Kumar was the best performer for Bengal with 13 points. Their defence, however, looked quite pale in the tournament opener.
