Rahul stated that there were no concerns over Rohit and Shami and claimed that the Men in Blue have no fitness concerns as things stand. However, the 32-year-old claimed that they will get a better idea after the training session on Friday evening in Dubai.

While India will take the field after a break of a week, they will play the semi-final less than 48 hours later on Tuesday (March 4). With a short turnaround ahead of the knockout clash, it remains to be seen if India rest players against New Zealand with qualification secured. Rahul remained tight-lipped over the possibility.
"There are temptations on trying different players before semis but I am not sure that will be the case. There is little time before semi so you would want players to get max time. This is my version, things could change. I am not part of leadership group," said Rahul.
