Playing a Test match after almost four years, Rashid Khan put up a match-winning performance for Afghanistan in the second Test against Zimbabwe at the Queen Sports Club in Bulawayo. A stunning century from Rahmat Shah in the third innings helped Afghanistan post a total of 363 on the board. Chasing a total of 277, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 205. This is Afghanistan's first multi-test bilateral series victory in history. Earlier, the first Test had ended in a draw.
As far as Rashid is concerned he took a four-wicket haul (4-94) in the first innings. The 26-year-old spun a web in the fourth innings against Zimbabwe and got career-best figures of 7-66. He finished the match with figures of 11-160. Rashid also made crucial knocks of 25 and 23 with the bat.

Rashid Khan Creates History

Rashid etched his name in the history books by finishing the match with a 10-wicket haul and scores of 20+ runs in both innings with the bat. This is the second time Rashid has achieved the feat in his Test career. The Afghanistan star also registered a unique feat against Bangladesh in September 2019 at Dehradun with bowling figures of 11-104 and scores of 51 and 24 with the bat.
Overall, this is the 10th instance of a player achieving the rare feat in Test cricket, but Rashid is the first player in history to do it twice.
