MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina have always the best of friends and teammates. The duo have been part of someof the greatest moments of the Indian cricket Team, be it the 2011 World Cup win or the 2012 Champions Trophy triumph. Raina and Dhoni have also been teammates at Chennai Super Kings, as they are considered the greatest players the franchise have ever seen. However, Dhoni has now revealed one thing that he would never do with Suresh Raina.
In the latest episode of 'Tread Talks' on the Eurogrips Tyres official YouTube channel, MS Dhoni revealed that he would never take Suresh Raina as his bike-riding partner, because he does not remain still and starts moving. This happens especially if he sees a truck on the road.
The former CSK and India captain also revealed that most athletes stay away from riding a bike because they are worried about an injury that might happen in case of an accident.
"In the sense, you know, to put it very simply, in a motorcycle, unlike a car, you know, whether it's your fault or not, if there's an accident or if you fall, you will get hurt and most of the athletes, they are very worried about their joints, especially knees and elbows," Dhoni said.
"Most of the players, they stay away from it. But people who have sat with me on a bike and we have been on a ride, I can pick one who I would not, you know, take as a companion and that would be Suresh Raina because, you know, he starts moving. So, if he sees a truck, you know, getting close, he starts to move along," he added.

When Will MS Dhoni Be In Action Next?

MS Dhoni can be seen in on-field action after close to a year in IPL 2025 when he takes the field for the Chennai Super Kings. He was retained by the franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 auction as an uncapped player for Rs 4 crore.
This happened because the BCCI brought back the rule which states that any player who has not played an international game for more than 5 years can be termed as an uncapped player.
