India are currenly taking on Australia in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. It has been an evenly contested game so far. One of the best performers for Australia so far has been star off-spinner Nathan Lyon. He has picked up the two important wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. However, in a strange turn of events, his bald head was made fun of by an ex-Australian player, who went on to call him 'taklu' (Indian slang for bald-header people).
When Nitish Kumar Reddy and Nathan Lyon were batting together, one of them referred to Nathan Lyon, who was bowling at that time as a bald eagle. After this was caught on the stump mic, Adam Gilchrist jokingly said that it was obviously a reference to Lyon and not his co-commentator and ex-Australia leg spinner Kerry O'Keefe. It is at this moment that O'Keefe hilariously referred to Lyon as 'taklu'.
He revealed that Indian fans called him 'taklu' when he posted a joke from his cricket show on his X account. He then looked up the meaning of the word, and finally understood that it meant a bald man.
"In Hindi, it's Taklu, because I posted my joke from a cricket show, and the Indians on Twitter responded with 'Who is the taklu?' on the end, and I thought a picture of this shocking word about me. I looked it up in Hindi, 'It's a bald man'. So Nathan Lyon is a taklu," O'Keefe said on air.

Nitish Reddy Slams Maiden Ton On Day 3

Nitish Kumar Reddy stole the show on Day 3 of the 4th Test. He slammed the Australian bowlers all over the park as he scored his maiden Test century. He becomes just the second Indian to slam his maiden Test century at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The first Indian to do so was the legendary Vinoo Mankad, who hit a ton way back in 1948. At 21 years 141 days, Nitish Reddy also becomes the third youngest player from India to slam a Test Century in Australia.
