Pat Cummins-led Australia bounced back strongly in the second Test match against India in Adelaide and handed the visitors a 10-wicket defeat. A brilliant bowling performance from the Australian pacers saw India failing to breach the 200-run mark in both innings. The Rohit Sharma-led side managed scores of 180 and 175.
Mitchell Starc shone with the ball in the first innings and took a six-fer. Captain Pat Cummins did the job with the ball in the second innings and he took a five-fer. Cummins scalped the key wickets of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Nitish Reddy, R Ashwin and Harshit Rana to complete his five-fer.

The right-arm pacer has two five-fers Tests against India in Tests. He took his maiden five-wicket haul against the reigning Border-Gavaskar Trophy holders in the Boxing Day Test match in 2018. India won that Test to go 2-1 ahead. The fourth Test ended in a draw and India created history by winning their first Test series Down Under.
Cummins has only taken one five-fer in ODIs and it has come against India. He leaked 70 runs for five wickets in the Mohali ODI. Australia made a stunning comeback in the series and won the last 3 ODIs to clinch the series 3-2.
In terms of wicket-takers, Cummins is at the 8th spot in the list of bowlers with the most wickets in India-Australia Tests. With 123 scalps, Nathan Lyon tops the charts. He is followed by R Ashwin, who has 115 scalps.
Kapil Dev is the highest wicket-taker among pacers. He scalped 79 wickets in 20 Tests. For Australia, Cummins sits at the top spot with 60 wickets. He is followed by Mitchell Starc, who has 59 wickets.
